Custom Websites with True Integrated IDX
I am thrilled to have teamed up with an elite boutique Web developer to offer custom designed real estate sites with a state-of-the-art, completely customizable CSS foundation for its real estate IDX CMS (content management system).
I know that’s a mouthful, but the “secret sauce” with the this system is its true integrated MLS listings. While the vast majority of MLS listings on agents’ sites are contained within an “i-frame” and cannot be read or indexed by the search engines, your integrated MLS listings become an integrated part of your Web site’s code. This means each listing’s text can be read and indexed by Google, Yahoo! and other search engines.
And it’s huge for attracting homebuyers who are closer to a purchase decision, because, now, buyers searching for a particular address or MLS number will receive a link to your site. Because these quality buyers coming to your site are in addition to those searching for generic terms such as “[city] [state] homes for sale,” integrated MLS listings have the potential to double or triple the current traffic to your Web site, which can result in lots more leads.
I began working on my integrated IDX sites in the spring of 2010. Since that time, I've become completely sold on the system — so sold, in fact, that I'm only recommending this approach to my U.S. real estate clients. Best of all: my state-of-the-art real estate IDX hosting costs only a tiny fraction of the cost of the few existing competitors offering a comparable product.
